Korean games are kind of funny. The global version of Horizon Walker (호라이즌 워커) is set to launch in beta on November 7, allowing fans worldwide to experience the game with an initial English translation. The development team announced on the official Discord server (updated) that while some translation aspects might be incomplete, this “beta” release won’t involve progress resets, and players’ data will remain intact.
Alongside the mobile release, a Steam version is in development, allowing users to link accounts through Google and switch seamlessly between mobile and PC. This “beta” release is essentially a full launch, already available for download without the usual restrictions. Though some content and features remain in development, Horizon Walker players can expect updates as the team works on refining translations and expanding gameplay options.
Interestingly, two versions will be available: the English-translated global version on Google Play and the original Korean game, which supports both Korean and English for players with a Korean ID. For those currently playing in Korea, their game progress will carry over, provided they link their Google accounts. You can get more info on their official website, but, it is in Korean.
