Art of Flora – New mobile botanical puzzle game comes to iOS

Indie dev Klemens Strasser has announce (via X), Art of Flora, an upcoming puzzle game for iOS. Art of Flora is the successor of Art of Fauna, a really good game that has won recognition and awards in the Apple App Store.

The game invites players to explore the botanical world through jigsaw puzzles, featuring over 110 puzzles across five biomes. Each puzzle is paired with detailed descriptions of the plants depicted, allowing players to either relax with visual challenges or engage with text-based reconstructions that deepen their understanding of natural history.

The artwork is drawn from 18th and 19th-century botanical masterpieces by renowned artists such as Marianne North and Pierre-Joseph Redouté, originally created for scientific publications. This historical foundation gives the game both artistic and educational value, making it appealing to puzzle enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.

The first 10 puzzles are free, with the remaining content available via in-app purchases. The game will be available for free download on the App Store, with optional purchases unlocking the full collection. Its release on March 19, 2026.
