Dave the Diver, Mintrocket’s breakout indie hit, is officially set to launch globally on iOS and Android later this year (August). The announcement confirms that the mobile version will be a free-to-play release with optional in-app purchases, optimized for touch controls while retaining the full content of the PC and console editions.
Dave the Diver originally debuted on Steam in 2023, quickly becoming a cult favorite thanks to its unusual mix of gameplay systems. Players dive into the ocean to catch fish during the day, then serve them at a sushi restaurant by night, balancing resource management, upgrades, and narrative progression.

The mobile adaptation promises to deliver the same pixel-art charm and eccentric storytelling, while introducing quality-of-life adjustments for handheld play. Mintrocket has emphasized that the game will not be a stripped-down port but a faithful recreation, ensuring that mobile players experience the same humor, side quests, and character-driven narrative that made the original so memorable.
Regionally, the release follow it first mobile release in China, now this time is confirmed as global, with no restrictions announced. Pre-registration details are expected to follow soon, ensuring accessibility across major territories from day one.
