A Game You Can Read – New puzzle game available on mobile and PC

Your House: A Hidden Truth is a narrative-driven puzzle game that seamlessly mix interactive storytelling with escape-room-style challenges. The game is developed by Spanish indie studio Patrones & Escondites, and was released recently on iOS, Android, and PC.

Set in the 1990s, players follow the journey of Debbie, an 18-year-old whose life takes a tumultuous turn on her birthday. After a series of personal setbacks, Debbie receives a mysterious envelope containing a key, a cryptic postcard, and an address. This leads her to an enigmatic mansion filled with hidden compartments, secret messages, and intricate puzzles that challenge players to unravel the intertwined stories of the house’s former inhabitants.

The game’s design draws inspiration from a real-life Manhattan apartment renovated by architect Eric Clough, known for embedding hidden compartments and puzzles within the living space. This real-world connection adds depth to the game’s narrative, immersing players in a story that explores themes of identity, ambition, and the pursuit of personal dreams.
