Japanese studio Perfect Day Studios and publisher Littoral Games has officially announce the pre-registration phase for A Perfect Day Pocket, the mobile edition of their award winning game A Perfect Day (完美的一天 ), an interactive narrative puzzle game that takes players back to the final day of 1999 in China. The game is set for release on February 27, 2025, on Android and iOS, the mobile edition will be available for $2.99.
This time-loop adventure follows an elementary schoolboy reliving the same day over and over (like in Groundhog Day movie). Players must navigate the routines, relationships, and choices that shape not only their protagonist’s fate but also the lives of those around them. The game features 7 time segments, 11 main characters, and 20 event cards.
One of A Perfect Day’s standout features is its distinct hand-painted crayon art style, which evokes some nostalgia of childhood memories. The game also integrates mini-games inspired by classic 90s pastimes, including Mini 4WD races, retro gaming consoles, and arcade experiences.
