Black Clover Mobile announces closure – End of Service in August

Garena has officially announced the end of service for Black Clover M: Rise of the Wizard King, with servers scheduled to shut down on August 21, 2025. The news comes just under two years after the game’s global launch and one year after its Japanese release, marking a sudden and emotional farewell for fans of the anime-inspired RPG.

To ease the transition, Garena has outlined a service termination schedule. As of June 20, all top-ups and new account registrations have been disabled. The final update will arrive on June 26, featuring content inspired by Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King, including a special event and two new Mages. Players with unused Premium Black Crystals (paid currency) will be able to transfer their balance to select Garena mobile games, such as Free Fire, starting August 21. The transfer application window will remain open until September 25, with customer support available until November 27, 2025.

The game had a great start, it reached the first place in downloads from the Google Play Store and not surprisingly, Black Clover is a very well known anime IP, however a very aggressive monetization strategy, unbalanced characters and few activities ended up scaring away fans. you can check their X/Twitter account for more details. The closure is for the Japanese and Global Edition.
