Date A Live: Spirit Echo is a new game in the action-dating RPG world, is set to launch on iOS on July 30, 2025, with an Android version also in development. Published by HK Adma Tech Limited, this new entry is actually, a re-release of Date A Live: Spirit Pledge HD, which was discontinued globally in 2023 and in Japan earlier this year.
Based on the popular Date A Live anime and light novel series, Spirit Echo blends side-scrolling action combat with romantic simulation elements, allowing players to either fight or date the Spirits—mysterious beings whose arrival causes catastrophic “Spacequakes.” Set in Tenguu City, players must build bonds with these Spirits to seal their powers and save the world.
The game features high-speed battles, anime-style visuals, and a variety of dating locations, along with multiple costume options, hidden voice lines, and cinematic cutscenes. It also introduces new character illustrations and enhanced gameplay systems, aiming to deliver a more polished and emotionally engaging experience.
This re-release is a new chance for fans who missed the original or want to relive the story with updated visuals and mechanics. Pre-registration is now open on the iOS App Store, with launch-day rewards expected for early adopters.
