LeekBox Studio

LeekBox Studio is a Chinese game developer and publisher currently at work on Path of Rune, an open-world sandbox RPG. Inspired by The Legend of Zelda, Path of Rune is a survival-focused experience set in a post-apocalyptic world dominated by AI, where players must rebuild civilization from the ground up. A free-to-construct system lets players erect their own cities, fortresses, and manors, and even build mechanical devices such as flying machines and vehicles. Alongside construction, the game features monster raising, farming, and exploration across vast landscapes. The title is planned to launch in China first, with a global release expected afterwards, and it remains in active development. With its emphasis on player freedom, crafting, and environmental survival, Path of Rune suggests LeekBox Studio is aiming for a large-scale, creation-driven RPG rather than a conventional linear adventure.
