About XD Games
XD Inc., known internationally as XD Games, is a Chinese game developer and publisher founded in 2013. It built its reputation on a mix of original development and publishing of indie and community-driven titles, including the battle royale Sausage Man and the action RPG Torchlight: Infinite, which it has released for players around the world.
XD is also behind Heartopia, a cozy life simulation game where players fish, garden, care for cats and build and decorate their own town at a relaxed pace. The game emphasizes personal creativity and emotional expression, with multiplayer features that let friends visit one another’s towns in a peaceful, collaborative space. Wrapped in a warm, accessible art style, Heartopia is planned for release in 2026 on PC and mobile.
