Chinese devs XD Games has unveiled new details for its upcoming turn-based RPG, Etheria: Restart, at Tokyo Game Show 2024. As far we know, the game will be available on Android, iOS, and PC via Steam, with no official release date yet announced, but aiming to 2025 for sure.
Set in a futuristic world on the brink of collapse, Etheria: Restart follows humanity’s desperate fight for survival. Players take on the role of Hyperlinkers, diving into a virtual realm to combat invading viruses and defend what’s left of the human race. The game’s core mechanic blends traditional turn-based combat with a unique summoning system, offering an immersive and strategic gameplay experience.
The game will feature vibrant characters, detailed animations, and five initial chapters, Etheria: Restart promises a captivating storyline alongside its jaw-dropping visuals. It looks like many high quality gacha games that have come out in recent years, maybe that has a lot to do with the delays, because yes, this game has had many, many delays.
Etheria: Restart was announced in 202, was said to be released in 2023, and we are already closing 2024. But now we have some more material so a release for next 2025 would not be out of plans. The game will be out in PC and Mobile, for now we have the Steam page up.
