Arknights: Endfield is an upcoming 3D real-time strategy RPG developed by Hypergryph, expanding the universe of the mobile game franchise Arknights. Set on the frontier planet Talos-II, the game introduces players to a new cast of characters and factions as they explore a world plagued by environmental collapse and technological decay.
Unlike the original tower-defense gameplay of Arknights, Endfield blends tactical combat with open-world exploration, allowing players to engage in real-time battles, manage a base of operations, and uncover the secrets of a hostile, post-cataclysmic world.
The game features a hybrid combat system that combines strategic positioning with action-oriented mechanics. Players control a squad of Operators, each with unique abilities and roles, and must adapt to dynamic battlefield conditions. Outside of combat, players can explore richly detailed environments, interact with NPCs, and expand their influence across Talos-II through resource management and infrastructure development.
Currently, Arknights: Endfield is in its final stages of development, with multiple closed beta tests completed and positive feedback from early testers. The game is scheduled for official release on late 2025 or early 2026, and will be available on Windows PC, iOS, and Android platforms. A PlayStation 5 version is also planned.
