Tokyo Chronos isn’t the only game getting a mobile release. The sci-fi adventure game ALTDEUS: Beyond Chronos will launch on iOS and Android on October 10, 2024, with pre-registration now open. This is a sequel to Tokyo Chronos, so, both games are a great choice if you like VR visual novels.
Set 260 years after Tokyo Chronos, ALTDEUS follows Chloe, a mecha pilot seeking revenge against the giant creatures known as Meteora that forced humanity underground. The game offers 15-20 hours of gameplay with one of the largest branching storylines in a VR game, where player decisions lead to multiple endings.
The gameplay is divided into two sections: the Adventure Section, where players converse with characters and gather clues, and the Mecha Battle Section, where players pilot the humanoid combat weapon Makia. Choices made throughout the game will determine the fate of humanity.
Priced at 13.99$, this release offers players the chance to experience the popular VR and Nintendo Switch title in a more accessible format. Fans can pre-order on the App Store for iOS and Google Play Store for Android ahead of the October 10 release, there is a Steam PC edition too.
