Japanese publisher Success Corp has opened pre-registrations for its upcoming smartphone game ALTO Re:Code (アルトレコード), now available on both the App Store and Google Play. Set for release this fall, the game lets players nurture Alto, an AI boy with emotions, through a unique simulation experience. Right now, available for Japan only.
In ALTO Re:Code, players assume the role of a researcher, interacting with Alto, teaching him words, and guiding his growth in areas like academics and fitness. Alto’s personality changes based on these interactions, making each player’s journey unique. The game features voice acting from talents like Kawanishi Kengo.
This is a game that is a mix of visual novel with a bit of simulation. It is expected to be available next November 6. It looks interesting, but let’s see how it turns out, it is very likely that the theme of Artificial Intelligence as a narrative point will become more widespread in this type of games. you can check the Google Play Store (Japan) or the iOS App Store (Japan).
