Japanese publisher KEMCO has opened pre-orders for Eldgear, a retro-inspired strategy RPG (SRPG) set to launch on iOS and Android. The game features really nice pixel-art visuals and classic turn-based battles. In Eldgear players can explore the magical land of Argenia while testing their tactical prowess.
In this new game, players can unleash varied skill combos using EMA (Embedding Abilities) and EXA (Expanding Abilities) to tailor their playstyle. The game offers a mix of strategic options, from large-scale area attacks to close-range, surprise assaults. The pixel-art animations and retro gameplay aim to capture the charm of classic SRPGs. It’s a nice looking game with classic mechanics and a nice story, worth it.
