Ride Kamens (ライドカメンズ) is a new chapter in the legendary super hero franchise. Bandai has released its latest mobile gaming project, Ride Kamens, inspired by the iconic Japanese superhero franchise, Kamen Rider. The highly anticipated training adventure game is set to launch on Android and iOS, but only on Japan for now.
In Ride Kamens, players will find themselves in the vibrant Rainbow City, a place that harmoniously blends nature and civilization. Unlike traditional Kamen Rider narratives, the protagonist in this game is not a Rider. Instead, players assume the role of an agent tasked with aiding an amnesiac Kamen Rider, who has suffered memory loss due to extensive bodily modifications from a phenomenon known as Chaosism.
The game features a total of 16 distinct Ride Kamens, each with their own unique backgrounds, occupations, beliefs, and personalities. These Riders, too, have lost their memories, and it is the player’s responsibility to help them recover and regain their strength. This diverse lineup ensures that players will encounter a variety of characters, adding depth and richness to the game.
The narrative of Ride Kamens is crafted by Yuya Takahashi, a seasoned writer who has previously worked on the script for Kamen Rider Geets. The game offers a compelling original story spread across 14 chapters, all fully voiced and motion-captured using Live2D technology.
Ride Kamens is set to release on May 31st. You can check the game in the Japanese Apple Store for iOS or the Google Play for Android. You may need to use a VPN in order to try the game, there is no english language yet so… unless you know japanese, you’ll have to wait for location. For that, we will check the official website for more news.
