King’s Raid – Global Closed Beta Opens January 29

Korean dev Masangsoft has officially announced that King’s Raid will open its global closed beta registration ahead of testing scheduled from January 29 to February 4, 2026. Invitations will be sent out on January 26, giving selected players worldwide the chance to experience the rebuilt version of the game.

Development of King’s Raid has been a long journey. Originally launched in 2017 by Vespa, the game became a solid choice in the gacha RPG space, praised for its real-time combat and expansive roster of heroes. However, financial struggles led Vespa to halt updates, and Masangsoft later acquired the IP to rebuild the title.

The upcoming beta showcases enhanced visuals, smoother performance, and tactical combat emphasizing party synergy, while retaining the hero-collecting mechanics that defined the original. Players can expect reworked systems, improved animations, and strategic depth that aligns the game more closely with modern competitors like Epic Seven and Honkai: Star Rail.

Regionally, Masangsoft has confirmed no restrictions for the closed beta, making it accessible worldwide from the official website. However, platform selection requires attention: players registered before the announcement will default to the Steam version, while those preferring mobile must reapply.
