Netmarble have officially announced the global closed beta test for MONGIL: STAR DIVE, a monster-taming action RPG, running from June 19 to June 26, 2025. Revealed during Summer Game Fest 2025, the game mix fast-paced combat, party-based battles, and deep creature collection mechanics, offering players a fresh take on the RPG genre.
Set in the world of MONGIL, players embark on an adventure alongside Cloud, Verna, and Nyanners, encountering adorable yet powerful monsters that can be tamed, trained, and synthesized. The game’s Tag Play system allows players to control a three-character party, switching between heroes in real-time battles, creating fluid and strategic combat scenarios.
One of the standout features is the monster collection system, where players can capture, evolve, and fuse creatures, unlocking unique abilities and battle formations. The latest trailer introduces Sangun, a new character inspired by East Asian mythology, hinting at cultural depth and narrative complexity within the game’s world.
