The night is dark and full of terrors. Netmarble has announced Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, an open-world RPG based on the amazing Game of Thrones series, set to release on mobile in 2025. Revealed at the G-STAR 2024 event, Kingsroad will let us to get into Westeros, featuring characters, iconic locations, and familiar music that bring the series’ dramatic lore to life.
The visuals shared in the trailer hint at high-quality recreations of places like Castle Black and the North, alongside characters like Jon Snow and elements such as the Night’s Watch and the White Walkers, developed with input from Warner Bros. and HBO to ensure authenticity. The game will take place after the events of Season 4, crafting an original storyline that expands the universe.
The trailer combines cinematic and in-game visuals, but gameplay specifics remain under wraps. Being in PC too, I guess it will be an action RPG, or tactical RPG. I don’t like the idea about a strategy game. Or worse, and idle. The studio es Netmarble, and this is the official website.
