We got another Beta coming. Netmarble has officially launched the closed beta test for MONGIL: STAR DIVE ( 몬길: STAR DIVE), a new action RPG set in the fantasy world of Belana. This game is a sort of sequel to Monster Taming, a RPG first released in 2013 (unsupported some time ago) and will be available in late 2025.
MONGIL: STAR DIVE follows protagonists Verna and Cloud as they embark on a new journey, accompanied by the mysterious mascot Nyanners. Players will have the ability to tame monsters using Nyanners’ unique abilities, forming three-member teams for strategic, tag-based combat. Additionally, tamed monsters can be transformed into Monster-rings, which enhance character abilities and add depth to gameplay.
The closed beta test is scheduled to run from May 21 to May 27, 2025, with recruitment open until May 19, 2025. However, the beta is currently limited to players based in South Korea. Those interested in participating can apply through the game’s official Korean X account.
Netmarble has some RPGs in their archive, so MONGIL: STAR DIVE may be a big thing. Fans of Monster Taming may have something good coming soon. For more details and updates, visit the MONGIL website.
