Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown coming to Mobile on April 14

Ubisoft is bringing its latest action-adventure title, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, to mobile devices on April 14, 2025. Following its initial launch on PC and consoles in 2024, the game is now making its way to iOS and Android, with pre-registrations currently open on both platforms.

The game comes featuring a lot of things. This mobile adaptation will bring the full experience of the console version, including fluid 60FPS gameplay, controller support, and quality-of-life enhancements such as auto-parry, wall grab hold, and slow-time mechanics. Players will also get a free trial before committing to a one-time purchase to unlock the full game.

The game has a Metroidvania-inspired level design, platforming, puzzle-solving, and intense combat. In The Lost Crown, players take on the role of Sargon, a young warrior from the legendary Persian elite force known as The Immortals. Tasked with rescuing Prince Ghassan, Sargon embarks on a dangerous journey through the cursed land of Mount Qaf, facing powerful foes and uncovering ancient secrets along the way.

While the console and PC release of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown (Steam) received good reviews for its gameplay and design, it struggled commercially, leading to the disbandment of its development team. However, the mobile release presents a new opportunity for Ubisoft to reignite interest in the game.

You can pre-register for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown on the App Store and Google Play Store now. The adventure officially launches on April 14.
