Rainbow Six Mobile Launches February 23, 2026 on iOS and Android

Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Mobile will officially launch worldwide on February 23, 2026, bringing the tactical intensity of Rainbow Six Siege to iOS and Android as a free-to-play title. First announced in 2022, the game endured a long development cycle with closed alphas and regional betas across Asia, North America, and Europe.

Built by Ubisoft Montreal, the mobile adaptation aims to replicate the strategic, team-based gameplay of Rainbow Six Siege, while tailoring mechanics for shorter, mobile-friendly sessions and it is finally confirmed from Ubisoft for a global release. Remember the game is already available in limited countries. The official announcement trailer highlights familiar operators, destructible environments, and classic maps such as Bank, Border, and Clubhouse.

Development has focused on maintaining the franchise’s hallmark tactical depth. Players will engage in 5v5 matches across modes like Bomb, Bomb Rush, and Team Deathmatch, with more than 20 operators available at launch. Ubisoft has emphasized that teamwork and role specialization remain central, even on mobile.

Rainbow Six Mobile represents Ubisoft’s push to expand its flagship tactical shooter into the mobile esports space. The company has acknowledged the growing demand for competitive mobile shooters, positioning Rainbow Six Mobile as a direct rival to Tencent’s PUBG Mobile and Activision’s Call of Duty Mobile. Monetization will likely rely on cosmetic purchases and seasonal passes.

Regionally, Ubisoft has confirmed a global release with no major restrictions, though certain monetization models and event schedules may vary by territory, particularly in Asia and Latin America. Pre register is open in the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store.
