Be happy anime fans. Poppin Games Japan is set to release its new mobile game, The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again – Puzzle, in September 2024 (aka Dekineko). This match-3 puzzle game, based on the popular anime, features simple gameplay and the beloved character Yukichi in Q-version form.
The japanese name is Dekiru Neko wa Kyou mo Yuuutsu (デキる猫は今日も憂鬱), this is a popular anime about Yukichi and Saku. Yukichi is a giant cat who prides himself on his culinary skills and a good deal at the supermarket always makes him twitch his whiskers. Saku still doesn’t have things figured out, but at least she has Yukichi. In this game players can enjoy the familiar world of the anime as they clear levels.
Pre-registration for the game has already surpassed 30,000 users, unlocking special rewards like mobile wallpapers and SNS avatars for participants, according to the official website. The game will be available for free on the Apple App Store for iOS and Android Google Play (limited to japan for now), with optional in-app purchases. You can follow their X/Twitter account.
