NetEase China is set to release an initial test of the mobile version of its martial arts game, Where Winds Meet, on January 9, 2025. This first edition will be available to a limited number of players in select regions, with access requiring a WeChat or QQ account. While the test is officially limited to China, if you have an account of those services, you may enter.
Building on the success of its PC version, Where Winds Meet immerses players in a vibrant open world set during the late Southern Tang Dynasty. Combining traditional Chinese culture with martial arts action, the game offers both a compelling storyline and expansive exploration opportunities. Players can enjoy 20–30 hours of main quests and an impressive 200 hours of free exploration content.
NetEase has also incorporated several innovative features into the mobile version, ensuring smooth gameplay on portable devices. Players can try out a unique trial simulator on the game’s official website, which allows them to experiment with face customization, Tai Chi practice, and other gameplay mechanics ahead of the full release.
