Ragnarok: The New World begins Early Open Beta in SEA

Gravity has officially launched pilot test recruitment (a Beta Test) for Ragnarok: The New World, yes, another MMORPG set in the Ragnarok Online universe (there are so many right now). The test is open to players across Southeast Asia—including Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, and more—and aims to gather early feedback on gameplay systems, performance, and world-building ahead of full release.

What is new in this entry, The New World introduces a fresh take on Midgard, blending classic elements with modern design. Players will explore new regions, engage in real-time combat, and experience updated class systems tailored for mobile and cross-platform play. The pilot test is free, progress will be wiped, and selected testers will be notified via email and Discord on October 30 and November 5.

To participate, players must complete a recruitment questionnaire and join the game’s official Discord server, which serves as the central hub for announcements and community interaction. Gravity emphasizes that this test is not a marketing beta but a development-focused phase designed to refine core systems based on user input. You can get more updates on their Facebook Channel.
