NetEase Games has officially announced that Planet Party Time will launch its beta test in China from February 28 to March 8, 2026, across Android, iOS, and PC platforms. Developed by Universe X Studio, the game blends is a sort of mix of social simulation with party-style gameplay.
Pre-registration is already live for Chinese players, with no confirmation yet of an international test. The beta will reset all progress at its conclusion, and purchases will remain unavailable during the testing phase. The development of Planet Party Time reflects NetEase’s ambition to expand its portfolio of social and casual titles. The game emphasizes community-driven experiences, allowing players to host parties, customize their worlds, and collaborate with friends.

Its design recalls elements of Animal Crossing and Fall Guys, but with a stronger focus on planetary exploration and cooperative play. The inclusion of a mini-game editor further distinguishes it, enabling players to design and share their own challenges. Early previews highlight activities ranging from racing and puzzle-solving to farming and fishing, ensuring variety and replayability.
Regionally, the beta is restricted to China, with no official word on international availability. But we have to remember the game is listed on Steam globally, so, given NetEase’s track record with global releases, a worldwide launch is likely later in 2026.
