Planet Party Time might expand to Mobile after successful PC Test

We got a new social simulator. NetEase Games is currently working on the technical test for Planet Party Time, their upcoming party game developed by Universe X Studio. NetEase has been running the test on Steam for PC users, where we have been able to see a preview of what the game would be like: planet-building, multiplayer chaos, and deep customization.

In Planet Party Time, players take on the role of a Hero Candidate, teaming up with the shape-shifting robot PADI to restore and customize their own planet. The game features over 120 multiplayer minigames, allowing up to 32 players to compete in racing, platforming, and puzzle challenges. Beyond party games, players can fish, farm, mine, and uncover secrets of the Cube Galaxy, making Planet Party Time a hybrid of simulation and competitive gameplay.

Customization is a major highlight, with over 100,000 hairstyles, outfits, and accessories available. Players can also recruit 40+ unique residents, who help manage shops, improve the planet, and add personality to the world. The game’s level editor allows players to create custom minigames, adding endless replayability.

While the PC version is currently in testing, NetEase has hinted at a mobile release in the future, though no official date has been confirmed. Given the success of Eggy Party, another NetEase social game, Planet Party Time could have a chance in the mobile world too, check the updates in the X/Twitter account.
