KONOSUBA – God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! Prosperity to This Beloved Town! has been announced for PC, iOS, and Android, proving once again that Kazuma and his dysfunctional party will never stop finding new ways to bankrupt themselves while dragging players along for the ride.
The announcement, reported by the official KONOSUBA website, suggests that this new entry in the KONOSUBA game lineup will be a mix between town-building mechanics wrapped in the series’ trademark chaotic humor and battle with 3D RPG style. Players will be tasked with developing and expanding their own version of Axel, the adventurer’s hub, while interacting with familiar characters like Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness.
Gameplay details suggest that players will recruit adventurers, assign them to quests, and use the rewards to expand facilities, attract new residents, and unlock storylines. Of course, knowing KONOSUBA, expect half of those quests to end in disaster, with Aqua crying, Megumin blowing up half the town, and Darkness enjoying damage a little too much. The developers have teased seasonal events and crossover content, ensuring that the game evolves beyond launch.
Regionally, the game is confirmed for Japanese release, we don’t have news about a global release or even English support.
