HoYoverse

HoYoverse is a Chinese video game developer and publisher founded in 2012 and headquartered in Shanghai, formerly known as miHoYo. The studio rose to global prominence with ambitious free-to-play titles such as Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact 3rd, Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero, praised for their polished presentation, expansive worlds and gacha systems. In 2022 it adopted the HoYoverse name and opened studios in Singapore, Montreal, Los Angeles, Tokyo and Seoul.

HoYoverse is behind Honkai: Nexus Anima, the latest entry in the Honkai line. In a universe shattered by the cosmic event known as the Sundering, players become Animasters who collect and nurture sentient beings called Nexus Anima. The game blends cozy open-world exploration with creature collection and strategic grid-based battles, and is currently in development for a global release.
