Digimon New Century is a mobile RPG developed by Qixia Interactive Entertainment in collaboration with Bandai Namco Entertainment Shanghai, and published by Tencent. Released exclusively in China on October 21, 2021, the game immerses players in a richly imagined Digital World where humans and Digimon coexist after a series of interdimensional conflicts. The story begins when Digimon first appear in the real world, sparking a war that ultimately leads to the creation of a virtual space where every child can bond with a partner Digimon.
The game features a turn-based combat system with a vast roster of Digimon spanning multiple generations, including fan favorites like Agumon, Gabumon, and Veemon, as well as original Digimon designed specifically for the game—some inspired by Chinese mythology, such as the Shan Hai Jing. Players can evolve their Digimon through classic stages like Rookie, Champion, Ultimate, and Mega, and participate in both PvE story missions and PvP battles.
Visually, Digimon New Century combines anime-style character art with 3D battle animations and voice acting in Japanese, creating a polished and immersive experience.
