Cats and Planets. Adventures of a Cat in Space is a new puzzle game oriented to the youngest or to the family. The game comes from studios Little Seeds Music and Tall Story Games, and at first glance, it is a simple game, quite cute, but also fun in its mix of puzzle and musical.
The gameplay is point-and-click, and we have to follow the story of a mischievous cat stranded in space after an unexpected mishap. We will help it to find its way back to Earth. The game is full of attractive illustrations and animations, and as we progress through the game, we will be able to unlock a series of original songs. Lending his talents to the project is Olivier Award-winning actor Arthur Darvill (Doctor Who, Broadchurch, Legends of Tomorrow), who voices the ship’s computer and performs the game’s main theme. The music is composed by David Gibb, who spans a variety of genres, from rock and jazz to funk and soul.
Tall Story Games has a good track of award-winning narrative-driven games, so we can expect a high quality product. It is important to note that the game is supported by The Space and Arts Council England. A free demo is launching on February 24, 2025, on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and the Apple App Store, coinciding with Steam’s NextFest event. The full release is scheduled for later in 2025 across PC, mobile, and consoles.
