Rovio has announced Angry Birds Bounce, a brand-new entry in the iconic franchise, launching exclusively on Apple Arcade on July 3, 2025. This marks Rovio’s first Angry Birds title since joining the SEGA family in 2023, and it’s a bold reimagining of the classic formula with a brick-breaker twist.
Developed entirely by Rovio’s Toronto studio, Angry Birds Bounce introduces a vertical gameplay style, blending roguelite strategy and arcade precision. Players will launch familiar faces like Red, Chuck, and Bomb—alongside new characters—into chaotic levels filled with bricks, power-ups, and piggy invaders.
Among the newcomers is Jo, the franchise’s first non-binary character, originally introduced during Pride Month 2023 and now fully playable with a unique backstory and abilities. Another fresh face, Gordon, brings flair and personality inspired by the creative energy of Rovio’s Canadian team.
