Square Enix Brings Trials of Mana to Apple Arcade

Square Enix is bringing its RPG classics to Trials of Mana+ (yes, with a plus) and a couple of Final Fantasy games, offering fans the chance to revisit these iconic RPG games in new, accessible ways. Scheduled for january 9, 2025, these titles will join Apple’s growing lineup of premium games, a really group of nice console-quality games without ads or in-app purchases.

Trials of Mana, a beloved action RPG originally released in 1995 as part of the Seiken Densetsu series, has been reimagined for mobile. The game will feature new visuals, real-time combat, and a multi-perspective narrative, the game allows players to experience the stories of six unique heroes on their quest to defeat the forces of evil.

Apple Arcade is becoming an excellent spot for RPG fans. Square Enix’s catalog is very large in that regard and I like to see these types of games coming in. Now, let’s remember that they are not perpetual licenses, so if you have an iPhone, iPad or Mac and Apple Arcade, it would be better if you try them soon in the App Page.
