Jus when in August we had Blasphemous 2 for Nintendo Switch, spanish indie studio The Game Kitchen has announced that its acclaimed action-platformer Blasphemous will soon arrive on iOS and Android, following fan demand for a mobile version of the original game. While no official release date has been confirmed, the App Store lists February 24, 2025, as a potential launch date.
Now, like many other ports to mobile, this new version will include all previously released DLCs, providing the complete experience from day one. Additionally, the game will support both touch controls and external controllers, offering flexibility for different playstyles.
Set in the dark and cursed land of Cvstodia, Blasphemous follows The Penitent One on a grim quest to break free from a cycle of death and suffering. As a Metroidvania game, players can explore, collect upgrades, and engage in brutal combat with grotesque enemies.
The art of the game is incredible, the setting is one of the best and it remains to be seen if the game system, a metroidvania, is correctly transferred to touchscreen phones or if it will be necessary to use an external controller.
Blasphemous will be available for $7.99 on the App Store for iPhone and Google Play for Android, and pre-orders are now open.
