Japanese indie developer nekosuko is set to launch Dungeon Hiker, a first-person survival RPG, on Android and iOS this July 20, 2025. The game includes some exploration, crafting, and card-based combat, which makes this a fresh take on dungeon crawling.
In Dungeon Hiker, players awaken deep within a mysterious dungeon and must climb their way to the surface, floor by floor. Along the way, they’ll gather materials, craft gear, and unlock skill cards to survive increasingly difficult encounters. The game’s turn-based battles rely on a deck-building system, where cards like Punch, Avoidance, and DeepBreath can be combined for tactical advantage.
Survival goes beyond combat—players must also manage hunger, thirst, fatigue, and temperature, adding a layer of realism and urgency to every decision. The dungeon itself is filled with traps, branching paths, and powerful monsters, and each run offers multiple endings depending on the choices made. Visually, Dungeon Hiker features a stylized 3D aesthetic, with immersive environments and a minimalist UI that keeps the focus on exploration and strategy. The game’s design encourages replayability, with new skill cards and story elements unlocked through repeated playthroughs.
The game is set to release on July 20, it will be available on Android via Google Play Store and iOS in the Apple App Store, it will support both english and japanese. It will come to PC too via Steam, but the website is not up yet.
