Giant Dev NetEase has officially announced that Dunk City Dynasty, the first NBPA-licensed street basketball game, is scheduled for release in 2025. Originally revealed in 2023, the game has resurfaced, I guess that it is either back on track or finally ready for launch.
Dunk City Dynasty aims to capture the essence of street basketball, reminiscent of popular titles like NBA Street, which focused on three-on-three gameplay and stylish execution. The game seems to deliver a fresh take on the genre, although it’s free-to-play model raises questions about its overall experience.
If you are interested in this new game (it really looks cool) a closed Alpha test will take place from August 30 to September 2, with pre-registration available on the Dunk City Dynasty website.
