eFootball joins forces with Captain Tsubasa in epic crossover event

Great news anime fans. Konami eFootball is kicking things up by partnering with the legendary football manga series Captain Tsubasa. This collaboration promises fans a chance to control Tsubasa Ozora and his teammates in special events, while unlocking exclusive rewards and crossover cards. If you’re a football fan or a manga enthusiast, this is the ultimate crossover event you don’t want to miss.

Captain Tsubasa has been a cornerstone of Japanese pop culture, chronicling Tsubasa Ozora’s rise from a high school football prodigy to a global star. Now, fans of eFootball can step into his cleats in a Time Attack event where players collect pieces of Tsubasa-themed artwork to unlock unique avatars and in-game bonuses.

On top of that, the collaboration offers Daily Bonus events, including penalty shootouts featuring iconic characters like Kojiro Hyuga and Hikaru Matsuyama. To sweeten the deal, Captain Tsubasa mangaka Yoichi Takahashi has designed special crossover cards showcasing eFootball ambassadors like Lionel Messi, drawn in his signature art style.

In the past, when eFootball was called Pro Evolution Soccer, or PES, there was the Master League, it was not uncommon to find Mods with Captain Tsubasa players, this is the dream of many people. The update is available for the mobile versions on Android Google Play and iOS App Store as well.
