According to developer Komitsu (X) iPad users will have the chance to play Five Years Old Memories, an interactive omnibus animation that delves into the sensory recollections of childhood. This unique project is based on interviews conducted by the creator with friends, capturing their memories around the age of five.
Five Years Old Memories is a game centered on childhood experiences. The creator gathered over 50 stories from friends and online contributors, focusing on the daily routines, emotions, and solitary playtimes of children. From this collection, seven episodes were selected to create an engaging interactive experience, each with its own distinct animations and interactions.
The animation features simple, hand-drawn visuals that evoke the imagination, and players can engage with the episodes by discovering unique interaction points within each story. The game is currently available on Steam and will come to iOS being an iPad exclusive.
