We have a new player in town. The mobile game, Gate of Gates, a post-apocalyptic strategy RPG, has made a major announcement, officially unveiling its demo version trailer just ahead of the G-STAR 2025 convention. The game is being developed by LiTRAIL and published by Webzen.
Set against a desolate, visually striking post-apocalyptic backdrop, Gate of Gates plunges players into a world where young, heavily armed heroines must battle mysterious, terrifying creatures in a desperate fight for survival. The background lore places an emphasis on a shattered world where hope is a rare commodity.
The newly released trailer provides a clear look at the core mechanics, confirming its genre as a sophisticated fusion of real-time strategy and tower defense. Players strategically deploy 3D-rendered characters onto the battlefield to repel waves of incoming enemies and formidable bosses, requiring acute tactical planning and precise timing to secure victory.
For now, the game is limited to Korea and Japan, however, the game’s presence at South Korea’s largest gaming event signals its strong commitment to a global release, particularly after confirming a dedicated push into the Japanese market with the launch of an official X (formerly Twitter) account.
