GTA 3 and Vice City Removed from Netflix Games Library

Netflix has officially removed Grand Theft Auto 3 and Vice City from its games library, marking the end of their availability one year after debuting as part of the Grand Theft Auto Definitive Edition Trilogy. While GTA: San Andreas remains playable on the platform, fans of the removed titles will need to purchase them from the Google Play Store or iOS App Store if they wish to continue their adventures.

Netflix explained the removal as a result of expiring licenses, mirroring its policies for films and series. A company representative assured users that the app would notify them in advance through a “Leaving Soon” badge, ensuring transparency about upcoming removals. Despite this setback, GTA: San Andreas continues to be a top-performing title, reflecting the success of Netflix’s bold foray into mobile gaming.

Since the launch of Netflix Games in November 2021, the service has seen remarkable growth, with 81.2 million downloads recorded last year, according to Sensor Tower data. If you are interested, you can download Grand Theft Auto 3 from the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store. And Grand Theft Auto Vice City for Android and iOS.
