Japanese studio Kairosoft, known for its engaging simulation games, has released Ice Rink Story (銀盤スケートリンク物語) for iOS and Android, priced at 1,000 yen. This latest addition puts players in charge of running their very own ice skating rink, blending business management with charming gameplay as they aim to create a five-star rink that leaves lasting memories for visitors.
Although this is the Japanese version (English name still to be defined), it is very likely that we will see it with a global release soon. In this game players will design their rink by placing decorative objects, managing facilities like heating rooms and soup bars, and crafting original menu items to cater to customers’ post-exercise cravings. Beyond aesthetics, players must train instructors in techniques like spins and axels, develop performance programs, and compete in skating tournaments to boost the rink’s reputation globally.
This is another Kairosoft game that remains faithful to its formula when developing games. Quite an attractive niche for the coming Christmas season, overall, we should have it in a couple more months. You can check it in the Google Play Store Japan or the iOS App Store Japan.
