Kamaeru: A Frog Refuge opens global pre-registration for iOS and Android

French indie devs from Humble Reeds and publisher Armor Games will release Kamaeru: A Frog Refuge in Android and iOS. The game invites players to build and manage a frog sanctuary, caring for different species while restoring natural habitats.

Gameplay emphasizes cozy simulation mechanics, where players collect frogs, decorate their refuge, and engage in light farming activities. Each frog species has unique traits and behaviors, encouraging exploration and collection. Much like Neko Atsume or Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, the game focuses on relaxation and creativity rather than competitive progression.

The game has a really nice art style, which features hand-painted visuals and soothing music. It also emphasis on environmental themes, noting that the game encourages players to think about conservation and biodiversity while enjoying casual gameplay.

Pre-registration is now open on the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store. The game is currently available for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. Remember, this will be a premium game. More info on their official website.
