Japanese studio Hit-Point has officially opened pre-registration for Neko Atsume 2 (ねこあつめ２), with the game set to launch on iOS and Android on this upcoming October 20. This latest installment in the Neko Atsume series, which has garnered over 33 million downloads (worldwide), adds several new features while retaining its core gameplay of placing food and goods to attract cats.
New features include “Going Out,” where players can visit other gardens using tickets, earning stamps that can be exchanged for prizes. Additionally, items used by the cats can now become “worn out,” with the option to clean them to restore their appearance and trigger new cat reactions.
A subscription service called “Nekonote Support” will also be available, allowing players to adopt a customizable “My Cat” and receive assistance from a support cat to manage in-game tasks. New feline characters, such as “Zukin-san” and “Questionnaire-san,” will also make their debut in Neko Atsume 2.
