Devs from Sunborn Japan has some good news. Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, the sequel to the original Girls’ Frontline, has officially opened pre-registrations globally. Set 12 years after the original game in the year 2074, the sequel takes place in a perilous Eastern European frontier where players will once again command Tactical Dolls, androids trained for combat.
As far I know, the narrative follows the dismantling of the private military company Griffin and Kryuger, with players now leading retired Tactical Dolls in a dangerous new mission. Exilium introduces enhanced tactical gameplay, a deeper customization system, and a revamped combat system offering more strategic control.
Players can pre-register for the game on the official website (global), with milestone rewards like Sardis Gold, Combat Reports, and a new character named Cheeta up for grabs. The game is aiming for 5 million pre-registrations (I guess for Asia and Global combined), and rewards will unlock as milestones are hit. More hints are published on their X/Twitter account.
The game is slated for release in 2024, with demos and special events planned for the Tokyo Game Show 2024. Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium will be available in North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
Update: Here is the iOS App Store link, this the Android Google Play Store.
