HYBE IM has officially announce their upcoming mobile RPG, Oz Re:write. The game was initially teased as “Project OZ,” this reinterpretation of the classic Wizard of Oz tale, as developer says, combines anime-style visuals with an otherworldly fantasy narrative. The game, designed for iOS and Android, promises a rich storyline woven through the diverse characters of the Oz universe, offering players a fresh take on the beloved story.
Oz Rewrite transports players to “ANOTHER,” a fantastical world created by the imagination of its mysterious founder, “OZ.” The realm features three continents and sprawling oceans, with more details about its setting and characters to be revealed through the game’s social media updates. Alongside the immersive gameplay, players will interact with characters via an in-game SNS system, adding depth to the story and fostering connection with the cast.
For now we only have art of the game, some graphics and a X/Twitter official account. In the upcoming weeks we could have a promotional video. The premise of the game interests me a lot and I hope it will be a well done game, especially because the studio is behind Knights of Veda, which is a very high quality game.
