Gundam Blitz Order announced for iOS and Android

Bandai Namco announces Gundam Blitz Order, an idle-simulation RPG for iOS and Android, blending automated battles with Gundam’s iconic mobile suits.

Bandai Namco has announced Gundam Blitz Order, a new mobile game for iOS and Android. The game takes the Gundam franchise into an idle-simulation RPG format, with players collecting and upgrading mobile suits before sending their squads into automated battles.

Rather than requiring players to control each encounter in real time, battles play out automatically while players manage their roster, resources, and ongoing progression, yeah, an Idle. The announcement positions the game as an accessible way to build a Gundam team and watch it fight, while drawing on the franchise’s lineup of mobile suits. Its focus is therefore on squad selection and incremental upgrades instead of hands-on action.

That approach puts Gundam Blitz Order in the same broad mobile category as idle RPGs such as AFK Arena and Idle Heroes, although its setting and units come from the Gundam universe. The game’s presentation is described as using stylized battle animations, rather than extended cinematic sequences. This should suit a mobile format centered on repeat encounters and progression, though players looking for direct combat controls may find the automated system less engaging.
