Lara Croft: Guardian of Light, a great Tomb Raider game comes to mobile

After some time, we have again a Tomb Raider game for mobile. Feral Interactive has officially announced the mobile release of Lara Croft: Guardian of Light, set to launch on Android and iOS on February 27, 2025. The game, originally developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix in 2010, is finally coming to mobile.

The game is an isometric action-adventure, a really nice one. It features puzzle-solving areas with fast-paced combat and platforming. Set in the dense jungles of Mexico, players take control of Lara Croft as she fights to stop the ancient god Xolotl from unleashing chaos. The game features unlockable weapons, powerful relics, intricate puzzles, and both solo and co-op gameplay.

From the screenshots we can see Feral Interactive has optimized the mobile version with customizable twin-stick touchscreen controls and full gamepad support. Given their track record with high-quality mobile ports like GRID Legends: Deluxe Edition, we can expect the best.

The Tomb Raider franchise, if you are a fan, Lara Croft: Guardian of Light is a nostalgic yet refreshed experience, it may not be the most famous game in the franchise but surely is a good one (check the reviews). The game will come as a premium title priced at $9.99. Players can now pre-register on the Google Play Store and App Store.
