Made in Abyss: An Irredeemable Journey of Mysteries – Pre-Registration Opens in Japan

Made in Abyss – An Irredeemable Journey of Mysteries (メイドインアビス〜度し難い不思議な旅〜) has officially opened pre-registration in Japan, marking the franchise’s latest expansion into mobile gaming with a survival-driven RPG experience.

Kadokawa and Akihito Tsukushi, the creator of the original Made in Abyss manga, have confirmed that this new mobile title will arrive later in 2026 for iOS and Android, with pre-registration now live in Japan. Unlike earlier console adaptations such as Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness (2022), this project is designed specifically for mobile audiences, offering episodic storytelling, resource management, and tactical combat. Players will descend into the abyss alongside familiar characters like Riko, Reg, and Nanachi, facing environmental hazards, hostile creatures, and the psychological toll of survival.

The development of An Irredeemable Journey of Mysteries emphasizes authenticity to the source material, with newly drawn illustrations, anime-style cutscenes, and voice acting from the original cast. Gameplay revolves around exploration and survival mechanics, requiring players to manage supplies, adapt strategies, and endure the dangers of deeper layers.

Regionally, the game is currently exclusive to Japan for pre-registration, with no official word yet on international servers. Given the global popularity of Made in Abyss, localization and worldwide release are highly anticipated. You can check more in the official X account and pre-register in the Japanese iOS App Store or Android Google Play.
