Meteor Arena, a team battle game now available in Japan

TV Asahi and Deragame have officially launched Meteor Arena (メテオアリーナ), a new mobile game available on iOS and Android, but limited to Japan for now. Created by renowned game producer Yoshiki Okamoto, known for Monster Strike.

This “party x shooter” game offers fast-paced 3v3 battles that last just 90 seconds. Players must work together in teams to dominate the battlefield, using intuitive controls to move and attack. The game looks really fun, feels really fun, even though it uses the vertical format, which while it’s not my favorite, it works pretty well here. Too bad it’s limited to Japan and doesn’t have English language support. No news of a global release to date.

The game has been release today and in order to celebrate the launch, Meteor Arena is giving away 10 gacha tickets and a special 4-star character ticket to players who pre-registered. A key feature is the “Meteor” attack, a powerful move that can dramatically alter the course of a match. You can check the Google Play Store JP or the iOS App Store. This is the official website and I hope we get support for english.
