Big news guys. Electronic Arts publisher and developer Full Circle have announced that skate., the highly anticipated revival of the popular skateboarding series, will enter Early Access in 2025.
The game, planned as a free-to-play title (yes!), will be available on mobile, I am sure Android and iOS. Consoles and PC too. Unlike typical EA releases, skate. is adopting an Early Access model, often used by indie studios, signaling EA’s move towards a more community-driven development approach. Console playtesting is set for later in 2024, though it’s unclear if Early Access will be exclusive to PC or include consoles.
PR Team at EA says: The game will be live-service and cross-platform, with its physics-based skateboarding mechanics being a key feature. Full Circle has been actively engaging the community with closed playtests and frequent updates on the game’s development since its reveal.
