Monster Hunter Outlanders, classic hunting returns to Mobile

Finally Capcom, finally. We got a new game in this popular saga, Monster Hunter Outlanders is a new entry in the iconic series, and of course is heading to mobile. But here is the juicy part, unlike Monster Hunter Now, which uses AR and geolocation-based gameplay, Outlanders returns to the beloved roots of open-world exploration, hunting, and crafting.

The game is being developed by TiMi Studio Group so we can expect a really polished game. Set across vast, visually striking 3D landscapes, Monster Hunter Outlanders will allow players to dive deep into immersive environments, where they’ll craft gear and take on colossal creatures in thrilling combat. This new release appears to be designed with longtime fans in mind, those who may have found Now’s AR style too different from the series’ origins.

With no official release date yet, but a X/Twitter account, Capcom plans to roll out several Beta test. The addition of Monster Hunter Outlanders signals Capcom’s growing confidence in the mobile platform as a way to deliver expansive, AAA-style experiences. Here is the official website and the teaser trailer:
